Grant Lewis struggled with his control in the first inning (walking four hitters), but came through with a big strikeout with the bases loaded to end the inning with just one run allowed...
Jack Lebert hammered his team-leading second double (tied with Matt Taylor) of the season to deep left-centerfield...
Robbie Maxfield drove in two runs with a clutch two out, two strike base hit to rightfield. He leads the squad in on-base percentage and ranks third on the team in batting average.
Sam Marc continues to swing a hot bat. Sam now ranks third on the team in on-base percentage and fourth in batting average.
Ryan Novak drove home two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning with a two out single to give the Warriors a one run lead. Ryan's on-base percentage is now an impressive .400.
Mike Hinde executed the game saving play by gunning the game-leading runner down at the plate from rightfield to put an end to the seventh inning for Hickory Hills.
Mike Rafferty caught Mike Hinde's throw from rightfield and applied a difficult tag to keep the game tied at 10 runs as the game moved into the bottom of the seventh.
The team gathered to review its progress after the fourth game of the young 2008 season.
Mike Hinde was recognized with a game ball for his extraordinary hustle throughout the game and his game saving assist from rightfield in the final inning...
