Matthias Dietz was the Warriors' starting pitcher. He struggled a little with a deep hole in front of the pitching rubber on the mound in the first inning, but made some adjustments to pitch an effective second inning...After working with Hitting Coach Doug Pringle on Friday night, Ryan Tannebaum brought a new and improved stance, a quicker swing and a lighter bat to Midlothian... Matt Taylor pitched the fourth inning for the Warriors. He did not get much support as the defense was battling the sun during the middle innings of this one...Ronny Drabeck hit a line drive over the leftfield wall for the Warriors' second homerun of the season. After seeing a steady diet of curve balls over the past three or four games, he is now keeping his hands back and driving the off-speed pitch...
Dan Victoria banged out three hits in this game in Midlothian...Sam Marc continued to fuel the Warriors' offense in this 16-11 slugfest...Danny Poulos is swinging the bat more effectively in each game and has started to climb up in the Warriors' batting order... Grant Lewis halted the Midlothian comeback and threw two strong innings of relief for the Warriors, striking out another five hitters... Midlothian battled back from a huge deficit, but the Warriors held on to win the game by a score of 16-11. Since the park had no lights, the game was called due to darkness at the end of six innings of play (the inning 7 on the scoreboard is wrong)...
