Flossmoor Photos

Thanks to Kim Lewis for submitting the following photos from the Warriors' game against Flossmoor earlier today:

Matthias Dietz got the Warriors off to a good start with three strong innings as the starting pitcher. Matthias has been a consistently strong performer throughout Chicagoland Metro League play...The Warriors gather under a small patch of shade to review signs before the game...
Robbie Maxfield, the team's on-base % leader, suffered a knee injury earlier in the week and will be sidelined at least through the Hickory Hills tournament...
The Warriors ran the bases very aggressively throughout the game. Ryan Novak requests time out from umpire Mark "Smitty" Smith...
Jack Lebert fakes a bunt to draw the third baseman in as the Warriors easily steal the vacant base...
The team studies the action from the home dugout...
Mike Rafferty's bat came alive during this game. After slamming a foul line drive over 300 feet from the plate, he lined a hit down the rightfield line for his 16th RBI of the season and then doubled high off the leftfield wall...
The Warriors' infield defense was stellar in this one. Danny Poulos made a nice play to retire the batter on this rare errant throw over to first base from the left side of the infield...
Sam Marc recorded his first save of the season by pitching three effective innings to close this one out for the Warriors. He credits his red necklace for his success...
Dan Victoria pitched the fourth inning for the Warriors and retired three Flossmoor hitters in order with just five pitches...
